Andrew Cuomo is prescient choice by [DNC] for President in 2020. But who? would be his running mate? – that is a pertinent question! I grew up, as a teenager, literally in the midst of NY State politics. Best friend of my Rochester NY family (‘Charley’) was press secretary and an editorialist for the Gannet Paper (now USA Today) worked directly for then Governor Nelson Rockefeller. These are the same politics that are entering into this 2020 election cycle. When I was a kid JFK was assassinated and Nelson Rockefeller was the Governor of NY State in Albany along the Hudson River and he (‘Charley”) was retired when Nelson ran for President. The politics today are now intimately connected to that time and place. Make no mistake about it!
