No one is going to miss a Social Security check over 9/30. That’s fearmongering from people terrified of ever trying to get concessions on anything.

So much government spending is on autopilot that a “shutdown” means just 1/3 of government is paused while Congress does its job.

It’s time for that pause. Now is the time to fight.
