This is a pretty insane scandal. The Secretary of Defense was out of commission laying in a hospital and nobody at the DOD knew. He instructed his staff to lie and say he was working from home. What is he hiding? What if something critical had happened during that time? Extremely irresponsible.
Side note- What does he do every day that he can just disappear for a week and nobody even realized? This reminds me of the time Mayor Pete took paternity leave for months and nobody noticed 😂

He has moved through over 12 locations in just over a year with horrible conditions, lack of medical treatment and in some cases no availability to ordering food, suffering through mistreatment at Northern Neck Regional Jail, then moving through solitary confinement in Alexandria, on to trial and sentencing in DC. Just after sentencing he was moved to Petersburg solitary confinement where he was medically neglected, prevented from making phone calls, deprived of basic necessities and never let out of his cell.”
And at times he’s thrown in solitary confinement because of his outspokenness to the press.

This follows a recent US military strike on Iraqi militias within Iraqi territory.
RT reports:
Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani has promised to launch a process to expel the international coalition forces from the country, after a US airstrike killed a high-ranking militia commander in Baghdad four years after the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.
It also points out that the US targeted the Popular Mobilization Forces which fought against Al Qaeda and ISIS in Iraq and are officially affiliated with the Iraqi government itself.
A US attack on these forces represents an attack on the Iraqi armed forces themselves.
