Democrats pretend they care about border security, but they continue to defend Secretary Mayorkas’s willful disregard for existing federal immigration law.
Today, after marking up my articles in the Homeland Committee, we will finally impeach Mayorkas on the House floor.

When we vote to impeach Secretary Mayorkas later today, Democrats will either stand behind the policies of open borders, human and sex trafficking, 300 daily fentanyl deaths, and rape, or they will vote to impeach Mayorkas for blatantly violating his oath of office.
All the pitiful whining coming from Democrats and their allies in the media claiming the Senate border surrender deal was the only chance at border security are LYING.
HR2 is the strongest border bill ever passed in the House and Schumer and McConnell won’t touch it and want to pretend it doesn’t exist.
Now Democrats are caught in a quandary.
They claim that Mayorkas is not at fault for the worst national security crisis in history caused by over 10 million illegals crossing our border w/ among them 2 million got aways, 300 American fentanyl poisoning murders every day, Americans murdered and raped and robbed and attacked by illegals, cartel gangs now solid foothold in our country, 5 out of 9 border sectors under the control of cartels, and human and drug trafficking across our border that has paid Mexican cartels tens of billions while American taxpayers are forced against their will to pay the bill to house, feed, clothe, provide medical care, educate migrant children and provide legal aid for all the illegal migrants that have invaded our country since 2021.
Democrats claim this is a policy disagreement.
So are Democrats going to stand by all of those devastating and deadly consequences brought on the American people and call them “Democrat border policies” or are they going to vote to impeach Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for breaking his oath of office and breaking federal immigration laws?
Either Democrats own the border crisis or they impeach!!!
Also-
Democrats had full control in the House and the Senate all of 2021 and 2022.
They did nothing to stop the massive border invasion.
And didn’t care at all about it until now that the border crisis is the number one most damaging issue to them now that it’s an election year.
The Senate border surrender deal was NOT their only chance to uphold their oath of offices and secure our nation’s border.
They had 2 years, they did nothing.
We passed HR2, they have refused to touch it.
And now they are going to stand by and defend Secretary Mayorkas willfully breaking our federal immigration laws.

Time for SCOTUS to step in.
If POTUS doesn’t have immunity they’ll be incapable of action for fear of future partisan reprisal. That endangers the United States and sets a terrible precedent. If this becomes the norm would a Trump DOJ prosecute Obama for droning an American? If not why not?

SCOTUS will step in February and rule that Trump cannot be taken off any state’s ballot. I also think the president shouldn’t have immunity from crimes they commit. The problem is Trump didn’t commit a crime, and even if he did this is unfair treatment of the leading GOP candidate. Why did Hillary Clinton get immunity from her crimes when she wasn’t the president? Follow if you agree.

Hard to predict such things, but we’ll go for it:
We find it more likely than not that the Supreme Court does not rule on the immunity issue before the 2024 election. This will allow the Court to defer making a ruling on a novel question of first impression (Presidential immunity from criminal prosecution) that will have significant consequences. Should Trump be elected, he will have the power to pardon himself. Should he lose the election, the Court can make its ruling after that time. The Court isn’t in a rush to decide this issue, and such a strategy will keep it from making an election-altering decision. The Court is sensitive to its public perception and generally doesn’t want to insert itself into electoral matters.

This will be headed to the Supreme Court. The DC case will not go to trial before the election.

THE FIX WAS ALWAYS IN AS THE DC CIRCUIT HAS BECOME THE NEW 9TH CIRCUIT, NOW THE MOSTLY POLITICALLY LEFTWING CIRCUIT IN THE COUNTRY
The fix was already in with the judicial panel and the DC Circuit, one of the worst in the country. Let’s hope the Supreme Court not only takes up this case, but that a majority defends the office of the presidency — which absolutely includes protecting a former president from decisions made as president. I fear Roberts, Barrett, and maybe Kavanaugh might well buckle to media and Democrat Party pressure. But the DC Circuit is the new 9th Circuit, and this is precisely why the now defunct open-borders bill sought to require all immigration issue to be litigated not in all the judicial districts throughout the country, but only in the DC courts. That’s how bad and politically left-wing the DC courts have become.
