The Soviet Union was the first in the world to recognize the young Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, establishing diplomatic relations with it.
✔️ We highly appreciate North Korea’s firm support for Russia’s SMO in Ukraine, its solidarity with us on key international issues, and its willingness to defend common priorities and views on the UN platform. Pyongyang has been and remains our staunch supporter and supporter, ready to resolutely oppose the collective West’s desire to prevent the establishment of a multipolar world order.
✔️ The U.S. is trying hard to impose a so-called rules-based order on the world, which, in essence, is nothing but a global neocolonial dictatorship based on double standards. Countries that do not agree with this approach and pursue independent policies face increasingly severe external pressure.
✔️ The U.S. and its satellites openly declare that their goal is to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. They are doing everything to prolong and inflame with greater force the conflict in Ukraine, which they themselves provoked by supporting and organizing the armed coup d’état in Kiev in 2014 and then the war in Donbas. At the same time, all these years they have repeatedly rejected all our attempts to resolve the situation peacefully.
✔️ Our adversaries continue to supply the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev with money, weapons and intelligence, and allow and in fact push it to use modern Western weapons and equipment to launch attacks on Russian territory. And more often than not – on obviously peaceful targets.
✔️ The North Korean leadership, led by Comrade Kim Jong-un, has repeatedly expressed its desire to resolve all existing differences by peace. However, Washington, refusing to fulfill the previously reached agreements, is continuously putting forward new, more and more stringent and obviously unacceptable demands.
✔️ Russia has always supported and will continue to support North Korea and the heroic Korean people in their confrontation with an insidious, dangerous and aggressive enemy, in their struggle for independence, identity and the right to choose their own path of development
