STORY: I am a non-violent J6er

I had limited involvement that day

Here is what J6 has cost me:

• Award winning career

• 20+ yrs in my industry

• Annual income over $140,000

• House over 3,400 sq ft

• 50/50 custody of kids

• Stable home environment

• No criminal history

• My life was amazing

——Summary: After J6——

• Lost 2 jobs w/ Fortune 500 corps

• Career is over as reputation destroyed

• Bank foreclosed on my house

• Evicted from rental property

• Currently living at extended stay motel

• Losing custody of my kids

• Facing 4-7 years in prison

• My life is in shambles.

——My Actions: J6 Protest——

Committed no violence

• Witnessed no violence

• Caused no damage

• Witnessed no damage

• I was on the east side of the Capitol

• West side was the violent side

• West side mostly shown on news

• East side rarely shown on news

• Capitol breached before I arrived

• I entered through an open door

• Inside less than 10-minutes

It was my first protest ever

• Was visiting DC with my elderly mom

• No affiliations with outside groups

• No affiliation with other J6ers

I was respectful to police

• Cracked jokes and had police smiling

• Never told to leave grounds/building

Honest in 2021 FBI interview

• FBI raid and arrest in 2023

• 2 felony charges

• 4 misdemeanor charges

• No prior criminal history

——Employment——

FBI asked employer to verify my identity

• Fired from job of 12 yrs for being at J6

• Lost company car – Had no other car

• Denied unemployment benefits

Struggle to find a new job

• Covid: Few openings in my industry

• Purchased used car

• Began doing pizza delivery

• Average $500 per week income

• Constant vehicle breakdowns

Found new job in my industry in 2023

• Was doing well to reestablish myself

• Fired from new job after J6 arrest

• Lost company car again

• Work laptop seized by FBI

• Ex-employer asking $1800 for laptop

• Denied unemployment benefits again

Current: Struggle to find a job

• 80+ online news articles on my arrest

• Delivering pizzas again

• Car runs like sh*t

Bank foreclosed on my house in 2022

• Evicted from rental 2023 after J6 arrest

• Currently living at extended stay motel

• Paying $180/mo to store possessions

Credit cards maxed trying to survive

• Credit score ruined for nonpayment

• Judgements issued for nonpayment

• Bankruptcy filed in 2024

Bank of America: cancelled accounts

• Lyft: cancelled account

• Lifetime Fitness: cancelled account

• FBI seized personal laptop and phone

• No laptop to use for my case

• Owed $700 on old phone

• Currently using prepaid phone

Required travel to 3-4 DC court dates

• Travel costs will exceed $5000

• Negative bank account

• Wallet: $76

• Quarters: $9 for laundry

——Kids and Family——

Ex-wife petitioned for full custody

• Cannot afford attorney

• She will win anyways

Son: Middle school

• FBI seized his PlayStation and laptop

• His bf’s parents disallowed friendship

• He is teased at school about me

• His other friends no longer talk to him

Daughter: Elementary school

• FBI seized her iPad

• Neighbor kids no longer play with her

• Coach of her soccer team past 4-yrs

• League found new coach after arrest

Me

• Neighbors: No longer wave or chit-chat

• Friends: Won’t return calls/texts

• Sibling: Liberal and disowned me

——Pretrial Probation——

• GPS ankle bracelet

• Cannot leave state

• Cannot drink alcohol

• Random drug tests every 10-14 days

• Weekly check in with probation officer

• Unannounced home visits

• Unannounced home searches

• Mandated weekly therapy

• Probation not bound to HIPPA

• They review all my medical records

• They will contact any future employers

——Legal Defense——

• No money for private attorney

• Public defender has been assigned

• He is incompetent

• He doesn’t advocate for me

• He missed several filing deadlines

• He won’t file motions I ask him to
