I was raised in poverty in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Seeking to improve my circumstances, I enlisted in the Air Force, pursued education, and eventually earned four degrees, thereby crafting my own version of the American Dream. Throughout my life, I had deep trust and belief in the U.S. government and its institutions, feeling both safe and secure every night when I went to bed.

Despite my upward mobility, I remained connected to my roots, always mindful of those still struggling. This empathy led me to support the Democratic Party, as I believed they advocated for policies to uplift the less fortunate. However, over time, I observed a significant shift in the party’s values that no longer aligned with mine…gender mutilation, DEI, pushing division/racism, men in women’s sports, open borders, prioritizing climate change above economy, installed puppets vs transparent elections.

This change prompted me to reconsider my political stance. Donald Trump’s “America First” policy resonated with me, emphasizing putting American citizens first with common sense policies. This alignment shifted my political identity towards what I describe as a constitutional nationalist. I now firmly believe that for the United States to maintain its integrity and address its challenges effectively, supporting Trump is crucial. Our nation as we know it will not survive with the current radical policies.
