I know Sacramento. I’ve watched Gavin Newsom and his machine rig the system time and time again. Prop 50 is their boldest scam yet — a partisan power grab designed to shred fair maps and lock Democrats into power permanently. 

The good news is that momentum is on our side! 

• Our coalition is growing fast. Nearly 275 organizations and leaders — from rural officials to grassroots advocates — are standing with us against Prop 50. 
• We’re beating Newsom on the airwaves. Opponents of Prop 50 have already booked nearly $10 million in ads . Newsom’s team? Barely a third of that . We’re defining this fight early and outpacing his machine for now. 
• Sacramento is on the ropes. Newsom’s plan is facing lawsuits, they’re surrounded by backroom deal scandals, and now even Gov. Schwarzenegger speaking out proves Newsom is scrambling to defend the indefensible.
