“Another Round of Puzzlement”

Example:

I see we’re having another round of puzzlement about what “post liberalism” means. It’s not that complicated: it’s a negative category – a genus that includes many different species, whose common trait is that all members of the genus reject the central premises of liberalism, but who may or may not have anything else in common. People who profess great puzzlement about it seem to have no problem with other negative umbrella terms like, say, “atheist,” “post-modernist” or, the most internally heterogeneous category of all, “Protestant.”

My obs….

Is this what Universities are putting into their liberal arts students minds these days? As for myself I haven’t the slightest clue wtf you’re talking about! Looks like a whole lot of added complexity to account for the fact that the “faculty” is criminally insane as well as psycho-political. I’ve sampled some of it in the process of coming to an understanding of current events and it would appear that the University “Academia” is responsible in no small part for the current pandemic of cognitive dissonance that now underlies most of today’s social chaos. There is a much simplified ethical and moral code that was presented many thousands of years ago and it still holds true as valid today!
