Newspeak is the official, controlled language of Oceania in George Orwell’s 1984, designed by the Party to limit thought and prevent political rebellion (thoughtcrime) by restricting vocabulary and simplifying grammar. It aims to make subversive, non-Ingsoc ideas impossible to express by removing nuance, reducing the language to “doubleplusungood” (very bad) words.
What’s wrong with these people? Zombies literally. Patterned after Hollywood “Zombie” and “Walking Dead-brained-” and Demon Possessed – psychotic – This is precisely what we are seeing now in American City Streets. Zombies = Psycho-Dramatizations all “Acting Out” – just like in the Movies, and Video Games. Perhaps there’s a connection?
