Gov. Brian Kemp has just signed SB 189 into law, a new voting integrity measure that will help clean voter rolls in the state.
The law defines probable causes for removing voters from the rolls when their eligibility is challenged. The list of challenges includes death, evidence of voting or registering in another jurisdiction, a tax exemption indicating a primary residence elsewhere, or a nonresidential address. The new law even says the National Change of Address list can be considered to help clean the rolls.
The Georgia bill allows voters to be removed from the rolls up until 45 days before the election.
The left is already slamming the new law as “voter suppression” and an effort to disenfranchise marginalized groups. Jim Crow 2.0!

Our presidency is presently occupied by a senile idiot, whose every word is dictated to him by a collective of individuals loyal to the financial oligarchy rather than the citizens of this Republic.
Our government, as President Lincoln succinctly put it, is the only government in the world which is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Deep within our souls, this principle lives and breathes anew and has resulted in an unparalleled American revolt against those who, through their actions or inactions, would enslave us to our present circumstance or worse. We act in harmony with that law of God’s universe which stipulates that there is a limit to a tyrant’s power, and that individual human creativity is a divine gift which the state exists to nurture. This revolt now needs to be better organized into a force which will, on November 5, 2024, take our nation back and right its course.
Our mission is to throw off the intellectual and ideological shackles of our present Dark Age and impose justice on those who have assaulted us and our Republic. We will do this with a relentless focus on creating that bright future of a new renaissance of scientific and technological progress, and the celebration of the beautiful in art, architecture, and music. As Donald Trump has visualized in his Agenda 47, we will build great and beautiful new cities while rebuilding our present dilapidated urban hellscape, and build great and modern infrastructure while educating and uplifting our labor force to power our economic revival.

• Dismantle every government funding mechanism for censorship and/or propaganda activities directed at the citizens of the United States. Further, prohibit surveillance of citizens of the United States based on their alleged extreme or unorthodox political or philosophical views or alleged foreign ties, without a warrant. In addition, investigate and legislate against private companies, entities, or actors who seek to circumvent or block the speech, association, religious freedom, or other rights guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Operation Mockingbird is an alleged large-scale program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that began in the early years of the Cold War and attempted to manipulate domestic American news media organizations for propaganda purposes. According to author Deborah Davis, Operation Mockingbird recruited leading American journalists into a propaganda network and influenced the operations of front groups. CIA support of front groups was exposed when an April 1967 Ramparts article reported that the National Student Association received funding from the CIA.[1] In 1975, Church Committee Congressional investigations revealed Agency connections with journalists and civic groups.
In 1973, a document referred to as the “Family Jewels“[2] was published by the CIA containing a reference to “Project Mockingbird“, which was the name of an operation in 1963 which wiretapped two journalists who had published articles based on classified material.[3] The document does not contain references to “Operation Mockingbird”.[4]
In the early years of the Cold War, efforts were made by the United States Government to use mass media to influence public opinion internationally. After the United States Senate Watergate Committee in 1973 uncovered domestic surveillance abuses directed by the Executive branch of the United States government and The New York Times in 1974 published an article by Seymour Hersh claiming the CIA had violated its charter by spying on anti-war activists, former CIA officials and some lawmakers called for a congressional inquiry that became known as the Church Committee.[5] Published in 1976, the committee’s report confirmed some earlier stories that charged that the CIA had cultivated relationships with private institutions, including the press.[6] Without identifying individuals by name, the Church Committee stated that it found fifty journalists who had official, but secret, relationships with the CIA.[6] In a 1977 Rolling Stone magazine article, “The CIA and the Media,”[7] reporter Carl Bernstein expanded upon the Church Committee’s report and wrote that more than 400 US press members had secretly carried out assignments for the CIA, including New York Times publisher Arthur Hays Sulzberger, columnist and political analyst Stewart Alsop and Time magazine.[6] Bernstein documented the way in which overseas branches of major US news agencies had for many years served as the “eyes and ears” of Operation Mockingbird, which functioned to disseminate CIA propaganda through domestic US media.[8]
In The Rising Clamor: The American Press, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Cold War, David P. Hadley wrote that the “continued lack of specific details [provided by the Church Committee and Bernstein’s exposé] proved a breeding ground for some outlandish claims regarding CIA and the press”; as an example, he offered unsourced claims by reporter Deborah Davis.[6] Davis wrote in Katharine the Great, her 1979 unauthorized biography of Katharine Graham, owner of The Washington Post, that the CIA ran an “Operation Mockingbird” during this time, writing that the Prague-based International Organization of Journalists (IOJ) “received money from Moscow and controlled reporters on every major newspaper in Europe, disseminating stories that promoted the Communist cause”,[9] and that Frank Wisner, director of the Office of Policy Coordination (a covert operations unit created in 1948 by the United States National Security Council) had created Operation Mockingbird in response to the IOJ, recruiting Phil Graham from The Washington Post to run the project within the industry. According to Davis, “By the early 1950s, Wisner ‘owned’ respected members of The New York Times, Newsweek, CBS and other communications vehicles.”[10] Davis wrote that after Cord Meyer joined the CIA in 1951, he became Operation Mockingbird’s “principal operative.”[11] Neither the Church Committee nor any of the investigations that followed it find there was such an operation as described by Davis.[6] Hadley summarized, “Mockingbird, as described by Davis, has remained a stubbornly persistent theory”; and added, “The Davis/Mockingbird theory, that the CIA operated a deliberate and systematic program of widespread manipulation of the U.S. media, does not appear to be grounded in reality, but that should not disguise the active role the CIA played in influencing the domestic press’s output.”[6]

On Tuesday, Candace Owens offered her support for former President Donald Trump after the judge in his New York hush money case ruled that he had violated his gag order nine times and threatened him with incarceration.
Earlier in the morning, Judge Juan Merchan ruled that Trump violated a gag order that bans him from speaking about witnesses and family members of court officials, ruling that he had done so on nine separate occasions on his Truth Social account.
Merchan fined him $1,000 for each instance, as well as ordering him to remove the offending posts.
The judge noted in the order that if Trump carries out “continued willful violations” of the gag order, he could face “incarceratory punishment” if “necessary and appropriate.”
“I hope Trump continues to violate his gag order. Using the legal system to silence people from exposing corruption is utterly immoral,” Owens said, citing a post from conservative radio host Larry Elder. “Speech is a fundamental American right.”

And maybe he will,” Trump added.
Trump had previously pointed out that Merchan’s daughter had worked as a political consultant for Democratic politicians, suggesting that the judge had a conflict of interest.
Merchan also expressed his desire to fine Trump more than $1000 per charge, suggesting $2500 and $150,000 in his order, saying it would be “preferable” if the court “could impose a fine more commensurate with the wealth of the contemnor.”
“In some cases that might be a $2,500 fine, in other cases it might be a fine of $150,000. Because this Court is not cloaked with such discretion, it must therefore consider whether in some instances, jail may be a necessary punishment,” he wrote in the order.
