My name is Joseph McBride, and I have been representing Ryan Nichols since 2021.
Ryan Nichols is an honorably discharged Marine Corps Veteran living with PTSD. He is a father to two young boys—a husband to a beautiful wife, and the son of a Marine Corps Veteran turned Pastor and a lifelong schoolteacher. Ryan is a search and rescue specialist who spends hundreds of days per year rescuing people from natural disasters all over America. Ryan Nichols is an American hero.
I secured his release from the hellish gulag on November 22, 2022, after he was held in solitary confinement illegally for two years during pre-trial detention. Ryan was psychologically and physically tortured in DC Jail by guards and leadership who hated him for his politics, faith in Jesus Christ, and skin color. Ryan has been home since his release, trying to pick up the pieces of his life. He is also battling serious incarceration-related health issues.
The decision to plead guilty in his case was gut-wrenching. At the end of the day, we had to balance the unlikelihood of getting a non-biased DC Jury against bargaining for the best possible deal. We secured a deal that hopefully allows him to return home to his wife and two young sons as quickly as possible. Ryan will plead guilty on November 7th in DC District Court. After that, a sentencing date will be scheduled. I will argue for the lowest possible penalty for a great man whose life has been ruined because he attended a protest where old men and women were attacked in a Tiananmen Square-like crackdown on free speech by the DC Metropolitan Police Department.
Ryan is a great man. Please pray that Judge Lamberth restores Ryan’s freedom as soon as possible.

FBI received ‘criminal information’ from over 40 confidential sources on Joe Biden, Hunter, James: Grassley
The FBI maintained more than 40 confidential human sources on various criminal matters related to the Biden family, including Joe Biden, dating back to his time as vice president, according to information obtained by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.
The confidential human sources “provided criminal information to the FBI relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden.” Those confidential human sources were managed by multiple FBI field offices across the nation, including the FBI’s Seattle Field Office.

“I believe that scripture and the Bible is very clear that God is the one that raised up each of you and God has allowed us to be brought here to this specific moment in time,” Mike Johnson later added.
The GOP doesn’t have the Senate or the White House. It can’t deliver all the policies we wish it could. So instead, focus on changing the process, rather than simply policy.
Announce that the new Congress will be working longer hours in Washington, instead of going into recess at every opportunity. Work weekends, like regular Americans have to when there’s work to be done. Zero days off from now till 12/31.
We can’t demand a win on every issue. So make your plans clear early. Announce in advance what issues you’re ready to work with Democrats on, and which ones you are going to demand concessions on.
My recommendation: The most important issue is the border. It has to be fixed, or nothing else matters.
Announce that the House will be passing separate spending bills, instead of the same bloated continuing resolutions. Start with the least controversial, and work your way toward the stickier issues. Then follow through so that the left can’t accuse Republicans of holding Social Security or veterans hostage as part of our negotiations on Ukraine or the border.
If we’re honest about our plans, and follow through on them, the GOP will show that it is capable of governing, and it will be clear to the American people where they differ with the Democrats.
The first step toward reclaiming power is to show that you deserve it.
