My reason for befriending you was for your benefit. And, my friendship in this regard stands on a rock that’s been the last 20+ years. Now, that past is fading away into a fog of memory. My intention has been clear and honest and so it remains. You always are entitled to believe whatever you believe. That’s what America is all about. But the same applies to me. I have not ridiculed you for your beliefs. I have respected them. I should not be ridiculed for what I know (not belief) from 70 years of experience as an American – especially out of another’s ignorance of what that means.
