I don’t think people realize the vast complexity of what’s going on – every facet of political and social structure internationally and across multiple generations and traditions – all of this is involved in the dramatic changes that are occurring. People are concerned with the limited immediacy of their own personal lives and there’s a lot of anxious chatter – but in the end it will take as long as it takes!
